  AN OLD RESIDENT OF GALT DEAD Mr. Wm. Clark, East Main street, received word on Wednesday morning, that his brother, Mr. Chas. Clark of Detroit, had died on Tuesday evening. His death must have been sudden as friends of the family in town received a letter at noon Wednesday, which was written the day before by his wife and she did not speak of him being sick. Deceased was in his 47th year and had been a resident of Galt, up to about eleven years ago, when he moved to Detroit and has resided there ever since. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Pitts, the latter a sister of the deceased, all left for Detroit, on Wednesday evening, to attend the funeral. The Weekly Reformer 3 Nov 1893 pg 1
