  BAST, Mrs. Ida Frieda - On Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, at her residence, the Maples Rest Home, Tavistock, Ida Bast, formerly of Baden. She was born 86 years ago a daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline Searth. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. Beloved wife of Allan Bast who predeceased her in 1985. Loving mother of Peter and his wife Sharon of New Hamburg. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Charlene and her husband Tom Boehler of New Hamburg and David of New Hamburg and his friend Elle. Special great-grandma to Peyton and Jade. Also missed by two brothers, Albert Searth and his wife Ruby of Waterloo and Carl of Toronto. She was predeceased by nine brothers and three sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and until Friday, where the service will be held at 2: 30 pm.
