    • JOHN MEYER OF KOSSUTH DEAD.

      Cancer of the throat has carried off one of Waterloo County's largest farm owners and best known residents in the person of John Meyer, of Kossuth, whose death occurred at his home last Thursday. He had been ailing since fall, an operatson was impossible, or at any rate, would have proven futile, and the end, though lamentable, was not unexpected.

      A resident of the Township for, the late John Meyer was a man years, of weight in the community and constituency. Until two years ago be was a member of the Board of License Commissioners.

      He was twice married. By his first wife, two sons and two daughters survive, Edward, who is a teacher in Calgary, N W T; James E Meyer and Miss Maggie, at home; and Mrs Boehmer, of Preston. His second wife and her family are living.
