  Christian Younkie PRESTON, Nov. 1. The last surviving member of the Younkie family, Christian Younkie, died at the home of his cousin, Mrs. Elizabeth Desssler, Breslau Road, at noon yesterday, at the age of 81 yerrs. Mr. Younkie had been ailing for five years and critically ill for the past week. A lifetime of residence in the Kossuth district, where he farmed for many years. Mr. Younkie formed a large circle of friends. Born in Kossuth, he lived there practically all his life, operating the farm across the road from the place of his birth, until his retirement five years ago. His wife, Phoebe Hilborn, predeceased him seven years ago. Mr. Younkie was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Younkie. He was a member of the Zion United Church. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held, Wednesday, at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
