      Survived by Five Sons and Four Daughters

      HANOVER, Jan. 27-The death occurred in Brant Township on Wednesday, Jan. 25th, of Mrs. Gateman, relict of the late Joseph Gateman, who predeceased her about 20 years ago. She had resided on the farm in Brant ever since.

      The deceased was in her 69th year, and was a member of the Lutheran Church, Brant.

      The surviving members of the family are: five sons and four daughters: George, Bert, Herman and Norman, the' daughters, Minnie, Hannah, Laura and Adeline.

      Funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 27th, at 2 p.m., from the residence of St. Peter's Cemetery, Brant, for interment, after which a memorial service will be held in St. Peter's Lutheran church, Brant. Rev. S. J. Witteg, of Walkerton, will officiate.
