  Joseph Wildfong, "was born January 16th, 1823. He was married to Rebecca Lutz. They resided near Montpelier, Wisconsin, where he died. No information in regard to family." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________ Joseph Wildfong, a resident of Montpelier, died at his home in that place last Wednesday. Mr. Wildfong was born in Waterloo, Canada, and in 1857 moved to Montpelier, this county, where he has resided ever since. Had he lived until the last day of this month he would have been 60 years of age. The cause of Mr. Wildfong's death is supposed to have been dropsy but of late years he has been troubled with fits.
