Cambridge Mosiac, Jim Quantrell, 1998, City of Cambridge [snippet from original text in book] ______________________________ THERON BUCHANAN, Reeve of the Township of North Dumfries, is a son of Alexander Buchanan, who came to this township among the pioneers, and settled on the farm where his son now resides. Theron was born on this farm in 1836, and has here passed almost his entire life in the pursuit of agriculture. He has long held a place on Commission of the Peace, and has about ten years' experience in the municipal Council of the township, two of which he spent as Deputy Reeve and three as Reeve.
