Victim of a stroke while on a fishing trip at Bamberg, William T. Sass, president of the Interior Hardwood Company, Ltd., passed away at his late residence, 85 Walter street, Kitchener, early Tuesday morning.
Very widely known in the Twin City, the late Mr. Sass was a former alderman and one time president of the Kitchener Board of Trade, In memory of the deceased, the flag on the city hall was flown at half mast.
A son of the late Frederick and Mary (Voge) Sass, natives of Mecklenburg, Germany, deceased was born in Waterloo on Christmas Day, 1866 and was in his 72nd year at the time of his death.
