  Fatal Accident in Waterloo A fatal accident occurred in the town of Waterloo last Tuesday. It appears that Mr. Fred Hopp, a farmer, was that day delivering produce at Mr. Cook's warehouse, Waterloo, and that while thus engaged the horses started. He attempted to hold them when he was knocked down and dragged until his shoulder came into contact with a post. His shoulder was smashed and several ribs broken, one of which penetrated the lung. He lingered til about midnight, when he succumbed to the injuries received. He was aged about 46 years, and leaves a wife, and five children to mourn his fearfully sudden taking off.
