  MRS. CHARLES BLANKSTEIN. The funeral of the late Mrs. Charles Blankstein, who passed away on Saturday morning at 10.30 o'clock, took place at Berlin Monday from the residence of her son, 151 Queen street, South, where a brief service was conducted by Rev. F. E. Obermer, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran church, after which the remains were conveyed to the St. Peter's Cemetery for interment. The deceased was in her 91st year. For some time she had been an infirm condition and last Tuesday unfortunately broke a hip-bone by falling out of her bed. Mrs. Blankstein was one of the oldest residents of Berlin, living here for nearly sixty years, coming to Berlin from Gernsany. Three sons and one daughter survive, Charles, of this city. Fred of Mannedosa, Man., Henry of Hamilton, and Mrs. Wallace, of Detroit. The Chronicle Telegraph 9 Apr 1914, p. 3
