- MARY ANN MURRAY
In ill heath for almost a year, there passed away at her home on Piper Street on Saturday evening, Miss Mary Ann Murray, highly esteemed resident of the village.
Born in Ayr, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mr & John Murray, she was a member of Knox United Church and was actively interested in various organizations of the church.
Deceased is survived by one brother, A. W. Murray; and two sisters, Mrs. W. D. Watson and Mrs. Peter Marsh, all of Ayr.
The funeral was private and took place on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, from her late residence, Piper St. The services were in charge of Rev. J. W. Currie, while pallbearers were: Dr. W. Woolner, Dr. D. Wilson, J. A. Gillespie, Wyllie Watson, G. S. Dalrymple, and A. L. Easton.
