      August Philip Fuhrmann, well known locally in the button industry, passed away at Warsaw, N.Y., aged 68 years, 9 days, following a lingering illness. The late Mr. Fuhrmann was born in Germany and came to this country when three years of age. Prior to going to the United States, he resided in this city. For some time he has been making his home with his sister, Mrs. Alvin Zavitz, Warsaw, N.Y. Deceased was formerly a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church, Besides one son Norman of Buffalo, N.Y. and one grandchild, there are seven sisters surviving. They are Mrs. Amelia Johnson, Lansing. Mich., Mrs. Henrietta Revhan, Springcourt, Mich., Mrs. James Harlock, Mimico, Ont., Mrs. Alvin Zavitz, Warsaw, N.Y., Mrs. Frank Rejefski and Mrs. Oliver Seibert, Kitchener and Mrs. William Nahrgang, Waterloo. Interment will take place on arrival of the cortege from Warsaw, N.Y. Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Lutheran cemetery. Services will be held at the cemetery.
