- Amos B. Snider, "was born April 19th, 1855. On June 29th, 1875, he was married to Hannah Kraft. He followed the milling business for about fifteen years when he resided at German Mills, Ontario. On June 18th, 1890, he moved to Sanborn, Iowa, where he is engaged in farming."

AMOS B. SNIDER
A native of Waterloo County and former miller of German Mills, Amos B. Snider, Ocheyden, lowadied May 4 at his residence. Born April 19, 1855, he lived in this district until 1890 when moved to lowa and started farming. He was the last of a family of 12. His parents were the late Rev. and Mrs. Elias Snider,
Surviving him is his wife, nee Hanna Krast [was deceased], and one daughter, Mrs. Elva Wiegand, Ocheyden. A. number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
A son, Ervin and daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Stein, predeceased him. The funeral and burial services took place on Sunday.

A.B. Snider
Last rites were conducted Sunday afternoon, May 6th at the home in May City by Rev. G.E. Scheider of the Hartley Methodist church for A. B. Snider. Mrs. H. B. Pike and Mrs. Paul Woodke sang.
Burial was made in Harrison Twp. Cemetery beside his wife who preceded him in death.
Amos B. Snider was born April 19, 1855 in Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada.
He was married to Hannah Kraft June 29, 1875. They lived in Waterloo County until June, 1890 when they moved to Iowa onto the farm where he lived at the time of his death. He reached the age of 90 years and 14 days.
He. is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elva Wiegand, Fairmont, Minn., his wife, son and one daughter having preceded him in death. Besides the daughter, he leaves to mourn his passing 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
