    • BAUMBACH, Carl -- At the Toronto General Hospital, on Wednesday, May 2, 1979, age 58 years, Carl Baumbach of 194 King St. S., Waterloo, a retired government assessor. Son of the late Aaron Baumbach and Ida Wettlaufer. Surviving is his wife the former Alice St. Germain; three sons, William of Waterloo, Alan of Toronto and Carl Jr. at home; two daughters Gloria (Mrs. Robert Nahrgang) of Kitchener and Janet at home; one brother Ross of Kitchener and three sisters, Frieda (Mrs. Floyd Querin) Ruth (Mrs. Robert Winterhalt) both of Kitchener and Mrs. Marie Flood of Detroit. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by three brothers. A member of the Waterloo Legion, Branch 530 and served during the Second World War with the Highland Light Infantry. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral and committal service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m., Rev. Fred Zinck of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
