Notes |
- About the same year, George Stewart's sons established the Stewart Coal Company. Their venture has met with success through close attention to business and personal popularity. The father was for many years a traveller for the W. G. & R. Company. Two local associates for the company were Ben Robinson and Robert Wood. Those were the days when W. A. Greene, now of Chatham, N.J., was the firm's manufacturer, and trained up his successor, Frank Hodgins. George DeKleinhans too was on the manufacturing staff, but now is with the John Forsyth Shirt Company. What an interesting story Mr. DeKleinhans could tell of the shirt and collar industry.
