  Death of Robert Hall The death occurred in the hospital at Holyoke, Mass., on Tuesday Jan, 3rd, of Robert Hall. Deceased was born in Ayr, being the eldest son of the late John R. and Jane Hall, who at that time lived in the residence now occupied by Miss M. Kyle. He left here when 18 years of age. His last visit to Ayr was three years ago, when he called on a number of his old schoolmates, among them being A. G. Watson, J. W. Watson, Jas. G. Pair, the Hendersons and others. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Harvey, and five daughters, all of Massachusetts, and one brother, John George Hall of Minnesota. The funeral took place from his late home in South Hadley Falls, Mass., on Friday afternoon, Jan. 6th. Ayr News Jan 12 1939 pg 1
