  Vera was the wife of the late William McNeel Stoody and mother of Joanne (Richard Weeks) of Ottawa ON, Charles (Deborah Phelan) of North Vancouver, BC and their daughters Kathleen (Michael Wylie), Marianne and Allison (Fager Abu Zayed); Janet (Jim Harding) of Qu'Appelle Valley, SK and their children Joel (Jennifer Linton) and Dagan: Matthew (Julie Duchesneau) of Toronto, ON and their children Michael Francis and Charlotte and; William McNeel (Dian Shantz) of Kitchener ON and their children Angela and William Alexander. Vera was predeceased by her parents Michael Francis Hart and Mary Helen Weir, her brothers Monsignor Michael Francis Hart, Albert Hart and Charles Hart and her sister Ann Beauchamp. She is survived by her sister Norah Proulx of Gatineau PQ and by her great-grandchildren Madeline Wylie and Amelia Wylie of Coquitlam, BC and Finley Harding of Whitehorse, YT.
