  Killed By Lightning Mrs. Elzina Hefky, Breslau road, was instantly killed by lightning on Saturday afternoon. She was sitting in the house, when a bolt of lightning struck the building and she was instantly killed. The house was hit twice during the storm. Mrs. Hefky was struck on the back of the head, the current passing down the spine and one leg. Mrs. Hefky was born in Puslinch Township and was 71 years of age. She is survived by two sons and one sister, her husband having predeceased her three years ago. New Hamburg Independent, August 20, 1920
