- Ronald Rudow, of Listowel, and formerly of Elmira, suddenly, at his residence on Thursday, March 20, 2003 in his 65th year. Ronald was born in Elmira on August 5, 1936 to parents Milton Rudow and Elsie Payne. Beloved husband of Donna and dear father of Ronda Rudow of Listowel, Sheryl (Steve) Harnack of Wellesley and Robert (Pam) Rudow of Atwood. Also survived by grandchildren Jessica and Quinn Harnack and Joseph Rudow, sister Marilyn Rudow of Elmira, brothers and sisters-in-law Jack (Marg) Darroch, Eleanora Larson, both of B. C., Barbara (Robert) Mitchell of Arthur, Sheila (Albert) Subject of Monkton, Phyllis (Ted) Smith of Newry, Alvin (Christine) Darroch of Harriston, Cathy (David) Smith, Roxanne (Greg) Bowman, Gordon (Diane) Darroch, all of Atwood, Gary (Isabella) Larson, Raymond (Connie) Darroch, Lynda (Doug) Gowing, Bonnie Darroch, Shally Ernest (Dennis Sanders), Donelda (John) Herrfort and Debra Darroch, all of Listowel, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his parents and parents-in-law. Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, at the Simpson Funeral Home, Listowel. The funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Church on Monday, March 24, 2003 at 2 pm, with Captain Bruce Jennings officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Payne, Jim Gurr, John Rudow, Ray Roswell, Ken Paul and Bill Clement. Donations were made to Salvation Army Church as expressions of sympathy.
