- Bender, Rev. Curtis LeRoy - Of Moorefield, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Jan. 23, 1982, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of the former Nodaine Palmer; dear father of Greg. Also survived by three sisters, Verda Bender of London, Ont., Fanny (Mrs. Reuben Gingerich) of Ailsa Craig and Mary (Mrs. Curtis Gingerich) of Zurich; by two brothers, Ervin of Guelph and Ezra of New Hamburg. He was predeceased by three brothers, Melvin, Reuben and Elton. The family will receive friends at the Nesseth Funeral Home, Main Street, Drayton, on Sunday evening, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday from the Palmerston Missionary Church at 2 p.m. Interment Owen Sound. Donations to the Missions Fund of the Missionary Church or the Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated …[the rest is not visible]
