- BENNETT, JOSEPHINE "DOLLY" (Nee Munch, formerly Long)
Formerly of Eagle's Hill in Hespeler, at the Spruce Haven Lodge, on Sunday night, October 23, 1966, in her 87th year. Born on October 19, 1880 in Puslinch Township, she had lived in Hespeler for over forty-five years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur. Survived by one brother, Nelson Munch of Hespeler; two sisters, Miss Gladys Munch of Hespeler; and Emma (Mrs. Harold Tremain) of Galt. Nelson Funeral Home, 23 Galt St. in Hespeler. Requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday at 9, with interment in Hespeler Cemetery. Rev D. D. Simpson officiated. Pallbearers: Joseph Heaney, Harry Bowman, Howard Tremain and Allan Tremain.
