  Woolwich Native Yields To Death Henry Stange Succumbs To Lingering illness; Funeral Will Be Held on Saturday Henry Stange, a Well-known and highly respected resident of Elmira passed away at his home here on Wednesday, following a lingering illness. The late Mr. Stange was in his 75th year. He has been in poor health for some time and for the past 11 months has been confined to his bed. Born in Woolwich Township in 1854, his early years were spent on the farm now occupied by Walter Ritter. Following his marriage to Catharine Kalbfleisch on October 21 1873, they settled on the adjoining farm where they spent two years, then removing to the Jacob Stahlbaum farm north of Elmira and later to Pilkington. About 12 years ago they came to Elmira, and Mr. Stange built the residence on Arthur street north where he has since lived. He is survived by his widow and four children: John, of Pilkington; Minnie (Mrs. W. J. Main) of Kitchener; Emma (Mrs. Thomas Main) and Ivy (Mrs. Addison Miller,) of Pilkington. Three daughters predeceased him. Six granchildren also survive. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m, from his late residence to the Evangelical church with interment in Elmira Cemetery.
