      James, b. 10 August 1826 Sandbed, Yarrow, Selkirkshire (also recorded in the Parish record of Yarrow) and Margaret who was born about 1820 in Caddonfoot Selkirk according to census records. Margaret stayed in Scotland with her husband William Grieve and run the Cross Keys Inn in Ettrickbridge. James immmigrated to New Orleans in 1847 according to census entry and died there 5 April 1910
