Notes |
- Very Sad
We last week stated that Mr. John Cranston, who came to Galt from Guelph ill of typhoid fever, about a week previously, was progressing favorably. We were then, we regret to say, in error. His case was very serious from the first and even at the time we wrote, such serious symptoms were shown as to render his chances of recovery very poor. On Sunday all hopes were abandoned, and on Monday morning he died. The deceased was the second son of our esteemed friend, Mr. Robert Cranston, of Cedar Creek, North Dumfries, and was a most exemplary young man. His relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in this section in their sad bereavement.
