  William Brown The death occurred at the residence, Cedar Creek Road, Tuesday afternoon of William Brown, in his 70th year. The late Mr. Brown was born in North Dumfries, a son of the late James Brown and Isabella Smith and had spent all his life in the vicinity. For the past 35 years, he had resided on the farm on Cedar Creek Road. He was an adherent of Knox's Presbyterian Church, Galt and for 40 years had been a member of Dolman Lodge, I.O.O.F., Ayr. He was an ardent lover of good livestock and of the farm, and for many years was a successful exhibitor of heavy horses. In March 1910, he was married to Mary N. Mitchell, who, along with one son, Robert G., at home, survives. Also surviving are one brother, Robert, of Paris, and four sisters: Mrs. A. B. Eddington of Woolsley, Sask.; Mrs. Mary Morton and Miss Hannah Brown, of Ayr; and Mrs. Ed. Shouldice, of North Dumfries, and five grandchildren. The funeral will take place from his late residence, Cedar Creek Road on Friday afternoon, June 2nd, at 2: 30 p.m., with interment in Ayr Cemetery. Rev. W. J.
