  Allan H. Cochrane - One of the best known residents of Waterloo and district, Allan Henderson Cochrane, 70, died at his home, 127 Erb Street West, early Saturday. He had been in particularly good health and returned from a motor trip the day before his death, which was due to a sudden heart attack. Deceased was born at Bayfield. Mr. Cochrane was purchasing agent for the Waterloo Manufacturing Company until his retirement at the time the business was sold by the Snider interests. He was an adherent of the Waterloo First United church and Waterloo Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his widow and one brother, Alfred of Brussels. Two sisters predeceased him last year. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the residence to Woodland Mausoleum for entombment. Rev. E. Val. Tilton officiated. The Waterloo Chronicle Jun 23 1939 pg 3
