  HERZIG, Joseph -- Suddenly, on Sunday, Jan. 11, 1981, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Mr. Joseph Herzig of 64 Riverside Drive, New Hamburg, aged 55 years. He was a foreman at Stanley Works, New Hamburg, where he was employed for 25 years. He was a member of Holy Family Church, New Hamburg; also a member of the German Canadian Fish and Hunting Club in Mannheim. Son of John Herzig and the former Maria Hauck of Kitchener. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Theresa Schuster, whom he married in Germany in 1949; son Joe and daughter-in-law, Kathy of North Bay. also surviving is a brother, Michael of Germany, and a sister, Elizabeth Engel of Kitchener. The late Mr. Herzig is resting at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., after 2 p.m. tomorrow. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 10: 45 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Father V. Pautler officiating.
