- Zehr. --- Leah, was born March 3, 1880; passed away to her eternal reward at the home of her daughter, Nancy, Tavistock, Ont., Oct. 2, 1952; aged 72 y. 6 m. 30 d. She was a daughter of the late Michael Yutzi and Marie (Schrag). In her youth she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and untied with the East Zorra A. M. Church. On Nov. 27, 1900, she was united in marriage to Daniel S. Zehr, who preceded her in death in 1942. Four sisters and 3 brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are 3 daughters (Nancy, Tavistock, Ont.; Marian-Mrs. Harvey Steinman, South Easthope, Ont.; and Selma-Mrs. Lorne Brenneman, East Zorra, Ont.), one son (Lloyd, East Zorra, Ont.), 14 grandchildren, one brother (Daniel S.), 5 sisters (Mattie-Mrs. Chris Ruby; Rachel-Mrs. Solomon Bender; Nancy-Mrs. Michael Yantzi; Mary-Mrs. Jacob Yantzi; and Emma-Mrs. Sam Wagler), and many other friends. Funeral services were in charge of Joel Swartzentruber and Henry Yantzi, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
