- Mrs. A. E. Bott
The death occurred suddenly at noon today of Mrs. Anna E. Bott, 46 Ellen St. West. Mrs. Bott was born at Blenheim 58 years ago but had resided in Kitchener practically all her life. She was a daughter of the late Adam Doerr and Lavina Bechtel. In 1907 she was married in Kitchener to the late Arden E. Bott, who predeceased her two years ago. A member of Trinity United Church she was active in the work of women's organizations there. Mrs. Bott was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Queen Anne Chapter I.O.O.F., and for more than 25 years a member of the K-W Orphanage Board, serving on the children's committee. Surviving are five brothers, John Doerr of Hamilton, Ralph and Elmer Doerr of Kitchener; Clayton Doerr of Saskatoon, William Doerr of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Nahrgang of Marmora, Ont., Mrs. Louis (Priscilla) Dahmer of Kitchener, and Mrs. Louis (Rudella) Bauman of Kitchener. The body is resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home until Tuesday at 2 p.m. when service will be held prior to internment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. E. O. Seymour, minister of Trinity Church, will officiate.
