  LEIS, Ralph -- Suddenly on Tuesday, April 21, 1998, age 55 years, at St. Mary's General Hospital. Ralph was a member of Trinity Evangelical Missionary Church and a 33 year employee with Sears in Kitchener. Loving husband of Jeanne Leis (nee Shantz); dear father of Jennifer and her husband Arsalan Shahi of Kitchener. Ralph was the special grandfather to Maral and her parents, Rahim and Narges Atabakhsh of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by sisters, Catherine Bartman of Waterloo, Erma Steinmann and her husband Ervin, Florence McFarlane and her husband Harold, all of New Hamburg; sisters-in-law, Arvilla Leis of Tavistock, Lois Broder and her husband Tom of Milverton; brothers-in-law, Stanley Shantz and his wife Cindy of Baden; father-in-law, Stanley Shantz and his wife Eral of St. Jacobs. also survived by 23 nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Catherine Wagler and John Leis; brother, Rev. Vernon Leis and his mother-in-law, Doris (Hachborn) Shantz. Ralph's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Thursday) from 7 -9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday morning, 10 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Missionary Church, 330 Conservation Dr., Waterloo with Pastor Craig Arbon and Rev.
