  MARTIN, Verda - Peacefully, on Friday, April 7, 2006, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Verda Martin in her 73rd year, of Elmira. Dear sister of Grace Scarrow and Willis "Willie" and Nellie Martin, all of Elmira. Verda will be fondly remembered by her friend, Viola Martin of Elmira and her seven nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Norman R. and Altana (Weber) Martin. Verda was a longtime employee in various capacities, in the Royal Bank, Elmira, as well as the Brampton branch. At Verda's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A Memorial service for family and friends will be held at Gale Presbyterian Church, Elmira, on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Linda J. Bell officiating. In her memory, donations to World Wildlife Fund or Gale Presbyterian Church Building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be obtained by calling Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, 519-669-2207.
