  Schneider, Harry D. - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo. Harry Schneider age 90 years, formerly of R. R. 3. Waterloo, where he farmed until his retirement to Elmira. Beloved husband of Grace (Woods) Schneider for 61 years. Dear father of John and Judy Schneider of Cambridge; Jayne and Don Brubacher of R. R. 1, Elora; Tim and Jan Schneider of Waterloo; Kathy and Lew Bauman of R. R. 1, West Montrose. Grandpa is lovingly remembered as a #1 sports fan by his grandchildren Andrew, James, (Laura), Bradley (Monika), Lori Martin (Ryan), Kevin (Jacqui), Josh and Jake. Brother of Murray and Bev Schneider of Owen Sound. Harry is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families and by the Bob Davis family. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Edna (Lichty) Schneider; by his three sisters, Jean Steiss, Wilma Wilhelm, Joy (in infancy); and brother, Milford. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Elmira, on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Jagger officiating, followed by interment in West Montrose United Cemetery.
