    • SCHLUETER, Carol J. - Passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, age 48 years.

      Carol was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Waterloo, Assistant Professor of New Testament Theology, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.

      Loving daughter of the late Martha and Pembroke Schlueter.

      Earth companion and kindred spirit of brothers, Murray Schlueter and his wife Beth of Gads Hill, Lavern Schlueter and his wife Ferolyn of Elmira; nieces and nephews, Kirsta Doupe and her husband Paul, Karen Pilecki and her husband Stan, Kevin, Corey, Jeremy and Meagan Schlueter; dear friends, Judy Mackenzie, Hugh Cameron, Pauline Schlegel Shank, Rhoda and Charlie Ernst, Marg Kondracki, Greer Dunlop, Cheryl Giardina, Rose Moore, Cathy Phillips, Lucille Marr, Ruth Anne Laverty, Lois Davidson, Oscar Cole Arnal, Ron Grimes, Susan Scott, Annemarie Kayser, Maureen Kennedy, Ardi Verhagen. Also survived by god-daughters, Andrea Phillips, Rachel Hirsch and Karen Pilecki.

      Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday 7-9 pm, and on Saturday 7-9 pm. Memorial service will take place on Sunday at 3 pm at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Waterloo.
