Notes - WAGNER, Maria "Mardi" - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer, on August 16, 2009, in her 59th year. Beloved wife of Jim Wagner of Kitchener for 38 years. Loving mother of Ben Wagner and his wife Candace of Kitchener and Chris Wagner of Fort St. John, B.C. Adored Bibi of Hannah, Konrad and Clare. Cherished daughter of Mary Hildebrand and the late Peter. Dear sister of Peter Hildebrand and his wife Greta of Fonthill and Edward Hildebrand of Jordan. Mardi will be dearly missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. Mardi's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of Mardi's memorial service to celebrate her life at 11: 15 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Reception at the funeral home immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Tai Chi Academy or to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
