- WIECHERS, Wilbert L. - Went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 23, 2009, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Lois (Mighton); loving father of Brian (Carol) Wiechers; cherished grandfather of Lindsie (Steve) Ferland, Alisha and Traviss; dear great-grandfather of Accalia. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Harold Bonnett; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Mighton and Bernice Witte; and brother-in-law, Tom Mighton (Marion). He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, George and Martha Wiechers and his sisters, Alma Wiechers and Mildred Bonnett. Wilbert served overseas during the Second World War. He has been a member of Hespeler Baptist Church for many years after returning home. He worked for Dominion Woolens and then for Fibreglass. Wilbert's family will welcome friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home , 1766 Franklin Boulevard on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Hespeler Baptist Church, 76 Adam Street, Cambridge on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. with interment following at New Hope Cemetery.
