    • Amy, Reginald Edward - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Trinity Village Care Centre at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Olive Amy (nee Krueger) (2006). Loving father of John and his wife Ingrid Amy of Mississauga. Dear grandfather to Kristen and Matthew.
      Dear brother to Paul Amy (Marion) of Waterloo, Don Amy (Jean) and Mary Strome (Glen) all of Kitchener, Ronald Amy (Bettyan) of Fergus and Joan Woods (Bruce) of Ancaster. Dear brother-in-law to Eleanor Amy, Irene Amy, Flo Amy and Betty Krueger.

      Dear uncle to Joan Murphy and many other nieces and nephews.

      Predeceased by his siblings Nelson, Bruce, Ross, William and Ruth Amy.

      Reg was a veteran of the Second World War.

      Reg's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 1 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at St. James-Rosemount United Church, 171 Sherwood Ave., Kitchener, where Reg has been a member for over 40 years.

      Rev. Wendy MacFadzean officiating.

      Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception at the funeral home.

      As expressions of sympathy donations to the Lung Association (Waterloo Region) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
