  • Notes
    • Berlet: On Saturday afternoon last, Mr, Louis F. W. Berlet, only son of Mr. and Mrs, Adam Berlet, passed away at the home of his Aunt, Miss E. Peine, at the age of 26 years. He had been in failing health with tubercular trouble for the past few months, and his death was not entirely unexpected, although the news of his demise came as a shock to his many friends. The deceased was a highly esteemed young man with a promising future, following the occupation of electrician, which however, terminated in his untimely demise. He was a member of the local Oddfellow Lodge and an adherent of the Lutheran faith. He leaves to mourn him his parents and one sister, Miss Minnie, residing in Port Huron, The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon to Riverside Cemetery, The funeral was conducted by Rev. Mr. Mosig of Walkerton, The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family in their sad loss.
