  Crash victim in coma two years dies An Elmira man who never regained consciousness after a car accident more than two years and died December 29 in the Elmira Nursing Home. Ephraim Gregory. 53, was a passenger in a car Aug. 28, 1967. when it collided broadside with another at the intersection of Highway 86 and County Road 10. two miles west of Elmira. Mr. Gregory, a father of four was taken to K-W Hospital and later moved to the Elmira Nursing Home. He remained in a coma until he died. A son of Mrs. Isaiah Gregory and the late Mr. Gregory of Fergus, he was born in Brutus. Mich.. June 14, 1916 He had lived in the Elmira area since 1930. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife. the former Edna Bauman: one son. Kenneth of RR 1, Elmira: three daughters, Carol of Kitchener and Catherine and Karen, both of RR 1. Elmira: four brothers, Ammon of Vatton. Josiah of Bradenton, Fla.. Henry of Kitchener and Oliver of Elmira; three sisters, Mrs Albert (Marion) Hollze of Kitchener and Mrs. Clifford (Hattie} Fortune and Mrs. Murray (Elsie) Nelsen. both of Palmerston. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira. where Rev. H. W. Baetz conducted the service Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial was in St. James' Lutheran cemetery.
