Notes - NEITZEL, Derek Passed away at his residence, R.R. # 1 Bright. He was born 34 years ago in Kitchener. Beloved son of Jill Manser and her husband Don of Waterloo and the late Melvin Neitzel. Sadly missed by his daughters Nicole and Shayna and their mother Marlaine Steele of Plattsville. Dear brother of Tracy Ann Neitzel and husband Paul Bowman, Destiny Winkler, Desiree Winkler all of Kitchener, Shannon Chandler of Brantford and loving uncle of Zachary, Jed, Sophia, Noah and Raya. Remembered by step-brothers Jeremy Winkler of Kitchener and Josh Winkler of Baden. Grandson of Bernice McAllister of Kitchener and Elizabeth Winkler of Atwood. Missed by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Derek was predeceased by his step-father Glen Winkler, grandparents Emile Savard, Al Winkler, Melvin Sr. and Violet Neitzel, and uncles Brent Savard and Wade Savard. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 1: 15 p.m. followed by the funeral mass at 2: 00 p.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, New Hamburg.
