  MRS. IOLA BARTON Mrs. Iola Barton of Elmira, aged 40, passed away at Turner's Nursing Home on Thursday evening, Nov. 28. Death resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Barton, an employee of the Great West Felt Co., had worked until Thursday noon. She complained of not feeling well and retired to her room. She was found there unconscious, later being removed to the Nursing Home, but failing to regain consciousness. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mrs. And Mrs. Valentine Mickus. She was born Oct. 19, 1900, in Pilkington Twp. She moved to Elmira in 1918 with her parents and resided here until the time of her death. Surviving are one son Gerald, 10, a sister, Mary Ann, Mrs. W. Knipfel of Kitchener, and a brother, Walter Mickus of Pilkington township. Her husband, the late Harold Barton, predeceased her seven years ago. The funeral was held from Dreisinger's Funeral Chapel on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was made in the Elmira cemetery. Rev. E. N. Mohr of Zion Evangelical church, Elmira, and Rev. Ch. H. Cornwell of Olivet Church, Kitchener, officiated. Pall-bearers were Messrs. Tom Wheeler, E. Sippel, E. Otto, Chas Mulholland, Wm. Bolender, and Wm. Brox.
