Alvin Lebold, 32, of Wellesley, and Albert Deleary, 44, of the Muncey Reserve, were charged with murder in connection with the death of Donald Fowler, 21, of Stratford, whose body was found Wednesday morning outside the trailer which the three men shared, in a trailer camp at Waldau, on .the highway three miles west of Kitchener.
Fowler's 'body was discovered resting on a stump, with a .22 calibre rifle at his feet. Asleep in the trailer were Lebold and Deleary, who were charged with the killing, following medical examination of the body, which revealed that a bullet had penetrated Fowler's neck.
The two men charged are employees of a New Dundee sawmill, and had lived in the trailer about two months. Fowler, a handyman, had joined them about a month ago. Investigators learned that a scuffle took place in the trailer Tuesday night and the sound of a rifle discharge was heard.
