  Magdalena W. Wanner, "was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1784. She was married to Christian Witmer, half brother to David and Jacob Witmer. They resided near Preston, on the farm now in possession of Isaiah Holm. Their family consisted of eight children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
