- Henry W. Wanner, "was born February 27th, 1788. When 22 years of age he came to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, near Hespeler, where he was married to Nancy Clemens who was born September 12, 1795, and died April 25th 1815. After her decease he was married to Hannah Clemens who was born March 19th, 1798, and died January 5th, 1868. They resided on the farm now in possession of John W. Martin where he died May 7th, 1872. He left no issue."
