He settled on a farm (immediately south of Wanner Mennonite Church on Beaverdale Road). The bible was passed down to Leah Panabaker (nee Wanner) and it possibly travelled with the family from Germany to Pennsylvania than to Hespeler. |

- Tobias W. Wanner, "was born March 16th, 1790. He was married to Catherine Strycker who was born March 10th, 1798, and died May 21st, 1882. They resided on the farm now in possession of David Pannebecker, near Hespeler, where he died June 28th, 1845. Their family consisted of seven daughters"
