Gospel Herald - Volume 87, Number 47 - December 6, 1994 _______________ Kropf, Mervin L. - Peacefully, on Monday, Sept. 5, 1994, at Stratford General Hospital, Mervin Kropf, of Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton and formerly of RR 2, Wellesley. Mervin was born in Wilmot township 77 years ago. He was the son of the late John R. Kropf and the late Mary Ann Lichti. Mr. Kropf owned and operated a farm construction company at RR 3, Wellesley retiring in 1983. Mr. Kropf was a member of the Wellesley Mennonite Church. Loving husband of the former Doris Roi of Stratford; dear father of Harold and his wife Denise Kropf of RR 2, Atwood, Kathleen Farnady of Toronto, Robert and his wife Peggy Kropf of RR 2, Brussels; step-father of Barbara Erb of Perth, Carolyn and her husband Ernie Phillips of Calgary, Grace and her husband Elmer Neeb of RR 2, Wellesley, Dan and his wife Cathy Erb of Stratford, Murray and his wife Sandy Erb of Tavistock, Keith Erb of RR 2, Wellesley. Dear brother of Clarence and his wife Jean Kropf of Fisherman's Cove, Elton and his wife Sylvia Kropf of RR 2, Tavistock, Idella Leis of Wellesley, Barbara Roth of Stratford, Janet and her husband George Rush of Kitchener, Bernetta and her husband Ralph Ruby of Chatham, Mary Ellen and her husband Steven Gingerich of Zurich; brother-in-law of Selina Zehr of Milverton. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Helmuth, September 21, 1974; by one brother, Earl; by one sister, Irene; by two brothers-in-law, Rev. Alvin Leis and Elmer Roth. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, where the family will receive relatives and friends today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Friday, removal will be made to the Wellesley Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Ray Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley township.
