Notes - Helmuth, --- Moses, son of the late Dan and Catherine (Swartzentruber) Helmuth, was born in Perth County, Ontario, March 5, 1878; after a period of ill health passed to his eternal reward March 26, 1953; aged 75 y. 21 d. In his youth he united with the East Zorra A. M. Church, of which he was a member until his death. On March 11, 1901, he was married to Catherine Sommer, who preceded him in death. On July 31, 1917, he was married to Sarah Roth, who survives. Also left to mourn his departure are 3 sons (Glen, Stuart, and Lorne, at home), 2 daughters (Dorothy-Mrs. Mervin Kropf, Wellesley, Ont.; and Elda-Mrs. Vernon Nofziger, West Zorra, Ont.), one sister (Mrs. Mattie Gingerich, Seaforth, Ont.), and 6 grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death. Fuenral services were held at the East Zorra Church, in charge of David Swartzentruber and Henry Yantzi, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
