  Kropf, William - Died peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, April 5, 1997, age 91 years, of Waterloo. Mr. Kropf was born in Waterloo and was a son of the late Rebecca Mank and Joseph Kropf. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Madeline Roth; his brother, Alvin Kropf and his sister, Adela Kipfer. Beloved husband of Florence Hollinger; dear father of A. William Kropf and his wife Irene of RR 1, New Dundee and Ron Kropf and his wife Joyce of RR 1, Kincardine. He is also survived by his step-son, Robert Roth and his wife Sharon of Waterloo; grandfather of Douglas Kropf and his wife Jane, Bonnie Reitzel, Dennis Kropf and his wife Maureen, Tim Kropf and his wife Irene, Melanie and her husband Mike Taves, Tom Kropf, Stephanie and her husband Mike Cachagee, Wendy Kropf and her friend Mike Pierson, Tracey and her husband Brett Taylor, Cindy and her husband Doug Schill and 22 great-grandchildren. Mr. Kropf was retired from Carlings Brewery, where he had worked for 44 years and was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church in Kitchener. Mr. Kropf's family is receiving friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. in Waterloo, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday). The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. David Martin officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home for lunch and a time to visit with the family immediately following the service in the chapel. The committal service will be held at Memory Gardens on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society of Kitchener-Waterloo, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
