  Native Of Blenheim - The funeral took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon of Mrs. Peter Lockie, Branchton, whose death occurred in Galt Hospital on Saturday, in her 84th year. The late Mrs. Lockie, whose maiden name was Margaret Taylor, was a native of Blenheim township, and had lived on the farm now operated by her son, for the past 34 years. She was a member of Branchton United Church, and was predeceased by her husband seven years ago. Surviving are one son, John Y., R.R. 1., Branchton; one sister, Mrs. Alfred Harmer, Drumbo; and four grandchildren. The Ayr News Jul 23 1939 pg 8
