  A-2-23 Franz Ament Administration of the Last Will and Testament of Franz Ament, late of the Township of Wellesley, labourer, who died on or about the 16th April 1859, at the township of Wellesley, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at the Township of Wellesley, , was granted to Jacob Ament of the Township of Wellesley, the Executor named in said Will… …I, Franz Ament, in the Township of Wellesley…make and constitute these presents My Last Will and Testament and order hereby as follows. 1st : I revoke and declare for dead and null all former Wills and Testaments unto by me made. 2nd : I order that my hereinafter named Executor collect all my outstanding debts, and pay my own debts, 3rd : I order him to pay ten dollars to one in this neighbourhood officiating priest of the Roman Catholic Church to read High Mass (Requiem) therefore for me and also to take care that my corpse is courteously buried and then to pay the cost. 4th : I order him that he shall pay fifty dollars out of my estate to a poor aid = seeking Catholic Congregation for the building of a church. 5th : I order him where I have had my home and last illness and have been taken care of until my last days to pay namely two hundred dollars. 6th : I order him to pay the residue after deducting the above mentioned to my own children in equal shares and lastly I nominate and appoint my friend Jacob Ament, in the aforesaid Township of Wellesley as Executor of this my Last Will and Testament… Witnessed by Jacob Ament and John Ament Will dated 14th March 1959 Proved 13th April 1859 Died 16th April 1859 Surrogate Court Records Copybook Register A 1853-1871 transcript to 1863.
