  CHARLES EDWARD SMITH'S OBITUARY Pittsburgh Gazette September 29, 1908, Page 6 SMITH: entered into rest on Monday, September 28, 1908 at 3:45 AM, Charles Edward Smith, aged 64 years, 3 months and 27 days. He was the son of the late Edward and Euphemia Owston Smith and is survived by his widow and two children, Charlotte and Edward C. Smith. Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 7724 Edgerton Avenue, East End on Tuesday at 7 PM. Interment at Fostoria, Ohio on Wednesday. CHARLES EDWARD SMITH DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT The Fostoria Daily Review, Fostoria, Ohio. September 29, 1908, Page 3. FORMER FOSTORIAN DEAD Word has been received here of the death of Mr. Charles E. Smith and that the remains would be brought here for interment. The committal service will be said by Rev. Edward J. Owen at the Fountain Cemetery, Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Mr. Smith was a resident of the city, he having been in the employ of Davis and Foster and will be remembered by most Fostorians of 15 or more years ago. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Miss Charlotte and one son Edward C., who held a responsible position with the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company for a number of years, prior to the removal of that institution to Pittsburg and went with the factory. ________________ Charles Edward Smith, aged 64 years, died yesterday home. No. 7724 Edgerton avenue. Wilkinsburg. Although an invalid for two years, he had been downstairs Sunday, and his death was unexpected. Mr. Smith was born in Peterboro, Ontario. Canada, and came to Pittsburg from Fostoria, O., 10 years ago. He traveling salesman. His wife, one son and a daughter survive.
